10:00 am - Teen Mental Health First Aid Course

Join instructor Deb Massey for a Youth Mental Health First Aid Course.

This course is designed for parents and caregivers of teens as well as professionals working with teens.

What will you learn?

After this course participants will be able to: identify common signs and symptoms of mental health challenges in teens;

will become familiar with common signs and symptoms of substance use challenges in teens; and

will have the tools to interact with a teen who is experiencing a mental health crisis and how to connect to a professional who can help.

Participants who complete this course will obtain a certificate of completion.

Course will required 2 hours of pre-course work that must be completed online prior to April 30 in order to be eligible for certification.

Cost for this training is $30. Lunch will be included.
