7:00 pm - Esther’s Story (Taylor’s Version) Purim Spiel at Shir Hadash

The Shir Hadash Purim Spiel this year will be Taylor Swift music themed! Make sure to come and enjoy the fun.

It was a “Love Story” of the ages, as Esther married her King, King Ahashverosh. Of course, the story began with “Bad Blood” between Vashti and King A, but clearly King A was “Mean.”

Esther won the contest because she told the King, “You Belong With Me.” Bigtan and Teresh tried to kill the king because “We Are Never Getting Back Together.” Haman is going to get “Karma,” and Mordechai said, “I Knew You Were Trouble.” “Our Song” is not about the beautiful story of the King and Esther but about Haman’s evil plot.

When all is said and done, we will “Shake it Off” and start over again with a “Blank Space.”
