Music Together® Sing Shalom classes: 

Fall 2022

Enter Shabbat with music and friends! This class integrates the beloved Music Together curriculum (Tambourine collection) with Hebrew and Jewish songs and culture. 

Enrolled families receive a Music Together collection songbook with download code, educational booklet and online resources as well as supplemental Sing Shalom recordings and song pages. Make social and cultural connections while participating in a research-based, developmentally appropriate music program! Mixed-age class setting for families with children ages 0-5 years. Classes are not offered on a drop-in basis, registration for the full semester is required.

Playgroup 

Sharing, singing, learning and mutual support are all are part our sessions! Make connections with other families and strengthen your bond with your little one. Our arms are open to moms, dads, grandparents or other caregivers. Join today!

Monthly

Mom’s Circle

Diverse, thoughtful women come together to enjoy text study, self-reflection, journaling, and real-life themes relevant to mothers of all ages and stages. This framework for reflection and mindfulness is organized around the Jewish calendar but applies to women of all faiths. 

Tiny Treks Teva

Tiny Treks, a local nature program and outdoor school, is teaming up with PJ Library for a special cohort of families! Experience Jewish values, traditions, and holidays while falling in love with natures. 

Each session includes a short hike, nature exploration, hands-on Jewish activities, community-building, snacks, songs, and storytime. Between each of our 10 monthly sessions, you will receive personal support for “doing Jewish” at home. For kids ages 1-7, and their grownups.

Schedule: Monthly on Sundays (first session of ’22-’23 school year is Sunday, September 11th)
Locations: Nature spots around the South Bay

Early Years Support Group

This group is for parents/caregivers of children ages approximately 2-8 with any diagnosis*. The group is co-sponsored by the Los Gatos JCC and Parents Helping Parents.

The journey to, through, and beyond a special needs diagnosis can make the parenting experience all the more intense. All the more so during the pandemic! Join an intimate circle of fellow travelers for sharing, listening, and supporting each other with practical advice.

Facilitated by Maria Johnson, an elementary school teacher and special needs mom. The group is compassion-based and anyone interested in meeting others sharing the journey of parenting a child with special needs is encouraged to attend.

Who should attend: Parents/caregivers only. No observers, please.
