Meet Michal Weiss, an integral part of Mercaz Israeli’s committee, a driving force behind several significant initiatives to foster community awareness and involvement. Michal’s dedication to various projects, including the impactful red balloon displays, bridge banners, and organizing numerous activities to advocate for the release of hostages, is commendable.

Hailing from Jerusalem, Michal brings a wealth of experience and perspective, having served as a Lieutenant in the IDF. She and her family have lived her in the Bay Area for the last 10 years. While living here, she is dedicated to enriching the lives of our community, raising awareness, bridging gaps in understanding, and educating the community.

Through their devotion and persistent advocacy, Michal illuminates the path toward a community united in compassion, education, and collective action. Her ethos embodies the spirit of Hanukkah, where perseverance and determination shine through even in the darkest of times.
