Challah Bake: 2022
In September of 2022 the Jewish Silicon Valley team brought back a community favorite – the Challah Bake. Just in time for the holidays, Helaine Green led the community through a mixing, kneading (pounding), and braiding celebration.
One of the first large-scale in-person events since the pandemic, the event bursted as brightly as our colors. Joyful laughter, flour smudges on aprons and faces, multi-generational families and friends…a true convening of micro-communities that developed over the time of staying at home joined together as one. The event was a sign of the energy and changes that continued to emerge from Jewish Silicon Valley.
