Diana Schnabel-Arevalo Named Chief Operations Officer

The Jewish Silicon Valley community proudly announces Diana Schnabel-Arevalo as Chief Operating Officer of Jewish Silicon Valley (JSV).

For close to 15 years Diana has worked in almost every aspect of operations, including most recently, as the Senior Director of Operations.

“JSV’s mission centers on the power of community. Diana is an incredible representation of that work. She is a dedicated leader, and passionate about her team and this community. I am honored to share this announcement and excited for the future of our organization with her as COO.”
Avery Kaufman, JSV Board Chair

Diana is highly respected throughout the community and was instrumental in managing the various stakeholder groups throughout the 2021 merger between Jewish Federation of Silicon Valley and the JCC Los Gatos to form Jewish Silicon Valley (JSV).

Additionally, she played a significant role navigating JSV, its community programs, and the operation of its APJCC Los Gatos Fitness and Aquatics Center through the global pandemic.

In her new role she will formally serve as the principal liaison between JSV, the Levy Family Campus Board of Directors, and other Levy Family Campus tenants to ensure that tenant needs are met and to continue meaningful collaboration.

She will also continue guiding and supporting the JSV mission with oversight of all philanthropic efforts, community programs and relations, and the health and wellness activities held at JSV’s Addison-Penzak JCC Los Gatos.

“I am incredibly humbled by the opportunity to step into my next chapter here at Jewish Silicon Valley. For those of you who don’t know my story, I started here as an Intern from San Jose State. My love for this community has grown deeply over the years, as I continued to grow professionally (and personally) alongside colleagues, lay leaders, and stakeholders. This has been my home – I have shared my college graduation, engagement, marriage, and birth of my first child, Hunter, and sending Hunter to the APJCC Preschool with many of you. I am looking forward to amazing new opportunities full of imagination, communication, innovation, inclusion, collaboration and passion.”
Diana Schnabel-Arevalo, Chief Operations Officer.
