Jewish Silicon Valley is proud to partner with Jewish Family Services of Silicon Valley and to offer support for the many life improving services that JFS SV provides. Since 1978, JFS SV has been restoring hope and transforming lives for individuals and families facing life’s challenges. JFS SV offers quality human services inspired by Jewish values — social responsibility, compassion, and respect for all members of the community. These values are expressed through all of JFS SV’s programs, including aging with dignity services, direct support for adults and families, and essential refugee resettlement and acculturation services.

Now in its 14th year, their standout Embrace-A-Family program makes the winter holidays a little brighter, easing holiday pressures and stress for those who would otherwise go without gifts and many life necessities. Last year, JFS SV fulfilled more than 1,100 wishes for local families. Partnerships like the one between Jewish Silicon Valley and Jewish Family Services of Silicon Valley demonstrate our shared commitment to fulfilling our mission to improve lives, build bridges of understanding, and strengthen the Jewish people here, in Israel, and around the world.

I consider delivering Shabbat dinners a mini-mitzvah. It is easy for me to do, and is so appreciated by the recipients; especially during this strange and difficult time.

We want to thank you so much for the kindness and care you sent to us on Chanukah. I can’t express how grateful we all are. The kids loved the clothes and toys and Nora looks adorable in the tops and dresses you picked out

Thank you for your wonderful help you have given me throughout the years. I’m blessed to have JFS in my life

I like Embrace-A-Family because there is so much need out there and I believe in giving back when you can.

Without your kind-heartedness, this holiday season would have been very bleak. It brings me to tears of joy to know that there are kind strangers out there willing to put a smile on my son’s face during this period of financial hardship. Thank You!!

I would like to send a special “Thank You” to the people who were gracious enough to have a kind heart during this Holiday Season and purchased gifts for my daughter for Project NOAH.
