9:00 am - TEE – Shavuot Blintz Breakfast
May 26 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am
Shavuot (falling this year on May 25th & 26th) is the festival of the first fruits of the spring harvest, and a time for us to recommit to our faith as we celebrate the receiving of the Ten Commandments at Sinai. We mark this holiday with worship, reading Torah, late night study, and traditionally, eating all things dairy! There are many explanations as to why this is, but the one that works the best for me is… it’s delicious! So if you are in need of some inspiration as to which dairy delicacies to enjoy as you stay up into the night studying at our Tikkun Leil Shavuot on May 25th at 9pm (on Zoom), and our Shavuot Yizkor Service on May 26th at 10am. Chag Smeach! Register here and come join us, in person, at Temple Emanu-El for this tasty treat!
