Kids in Urban Cohousing – Zoom Event and Q&A for Parents

January 24 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Could urban Jewish cohousing be right for your family?

Berkeley Moshav is hosting a Zoom event to hear from Katie McCamant, cohousing expert and co-founder of the movement in North America, who raised her own daughter in the urban community of Doyle Street Cohousing. This event explores the dynamics of urban cohousing to help you consider it as an option for your family. Bring questions about raising kids in-community, especially in urban settings, to our Q&A session afterwards!

Who we are: Berkeley Moshav is creating a vibrant, urban cohousing community where everyone can participate in the rhythms of Jewish life in a context inclusive of a wide spectrum of Jewish observance, from secular to traditional, and welcoming of people from other religions. With members joining us from across the country, our goal is to enrich their lives through communal activities, personal interactions, shared responsibilities, and celebration of Shabbat and Jewish holidays, in an environment of private homes and extensive common facilities.
