My Own Words is a witty, engaging, serious, and playful collection of writings and speeches from the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, one of our generation’s most influential voices in the field of law. This book showcases Justice Ginsburg’s intellectual range on a wide range of topics including: gender equality, popular culture, the workings of the Supreme Court, being Jewish, law and lawyers in opera, and the value of looking beyond US shores when interpreting the US Constitution. The discussion will be led by Miriam Marr.
