“Embodying our mission – harnessing the power of community to improve lives, build bridges of understanding, and strengthen the Jewish people here, in Israel, and around the world – the Search Committee feels Daniel is uniquely positioned to lead Jewish Silicon Valley into the future,” said Avery Kaufman, Jewish Silicon Valley Board Chair. “Daniel is admired and respected by our Board of Directors and community leaders. He has a keen grasp of key initiatives to help serve our community during these turbulent times.”

Daniel’s most recent professional roles include Executive Director for Israel Bonds for the Pacific Northwest and Development Director for AIPAC. Daniel holds an M.A. in Public Policy with a focus on Politics and Economics from Pepperdine University and an undergraduate degree from UC Santa Cruz with a focus on Business and Economics.

“As Holocaust survivors, my grandparents instilled in me a foundation and appreciation for a strong Jewish community and the importance of welcoming your neighbor. As leaders in the Jewish community we have a responsibility to keep that foundation alive.

Our children are watching, and for them, we must deliver the community we need today and a community they will be happy to carry on in the future,” Daniel Klein.

We would also like to take this opportunity to give a deep and profound thank you to our interim CEO, Scott Kaufman. Scott has been the definition of “team spirit and leadership.” During his time, he brought an incredible energy, spark, and vision to the Jewish Silicon Valley team. He elevated key players within our organization to optimal roles, ushered in new and important talent, guided the organization through countless opportunities, and prepared us for the exciting next chapter of growth and impact.

Thank you for your ongoing support of Jewish Silicon Valley.

Together, we will continue to serve the community that depends on us and make a lasting difference in the lives of those whom we serve.

Sincerely yours,
