PRESS RELEASE: Jewbilee 2023 – Multicultural Judaism: Celebrating the Diversity of Jewish Culture

January 11, 2023, LOS GATOS, CA – Jewish Silicon Valley would like to formally invite the public to the Addison-Penzak JCC Los Gatos for our upcoming 14th Annual Jewbilee, this year themed, Multicultural Judaism: Celebrating the Diversity of Jewish Culture. This year’s Jewbilee learning & engagement opportunities will honor the array of ways people practice, claim, and represent their Jewish identity, and how their Jewish-self fits within the larger community and history. 

For many, it will be a day of discovery and education. 

For all, it will be a day of celebration and connection.

While parents enjoy a day of learning and connection, kids in grades k-5, can enjoy their own day of Jewish celebration with Camp Shalom! Singing, playing, cooking, and having fun! Activities include singing with Renée Benmeleh, a multicultural vocalist/composer/instrumentalist, educator and ritual leader from Venezuela with Mediterranean ancestry, and cooking with Tami Segal, PJ Library and Family Engagement Manager.
