These were just some of the words chosen by interfaith partners as representative of who and what Diane Fisher has embodied in their work and time together.

Today marks the first day of retirement for Diane, JSV’s dedicated Jewish Community Relations Council Director here in Silicon Valley. For more than 17 years Diane has been a voice of equality and justice for our community, and a resource, ally and friend to countless others.

Thank you to all of our community partners and friends who attended Diane’s retirement party to celebrate her and her incredible career. A special thank you to the officials from all levels of government, including: US Representative Anna Eshoo, State Senator Dave Cortese, Assemblymember Evan Low, Supervisor Cindy Chavez, Supervisor Susan Ellenberg, District Attorney Jeff Rosen, Mayor Lucas Ramirez, and Councilmember Rob Moore, many of whom were in attendance and honored her with their warm remarks.

Diane, on behalf of the entire Jewish Silicon Valley community, we wish you every blessing, and thank you for your tireless work to better our community as a whole, and strengthen the Jewish people.
