A Change at Jewish Silicon Valley

An Announcement from CEO Lael Gray

Dear Jewish Silicon Valley Community Members, Partners, & Friends,

At the end of July, I will be stepping down as CEO of Jewish Silicon Valley in order to take a new position as Chief Operating Officer at the Peninsula JCC. It has been a great privilege to serve as CEO, first of the Addison-Penzak JCC, and as interim of the Jewish Federation of Silicon Valley, and finally of our united organization, Jewish Silicon Valley.

Over the next two months, I will be working very closely with JSV’s Board and staff to ensure a smooth transition, and of course the talented and capable staff of JSV will be continuing their important work, just as they do every day.

You are a valued member of our community, and so together with our Board Chair, Avery Kaufman, I wanted to reach out to share this news with you. Avery and I are both so proud of all that JSV has accomplished.

Today, Jewish Silicon Valley is a strong, healthy, vibrant and creative organization that is truly able to meet the mission of harnessing the power of community to improve lives, build bridges of understanding and strengthen the Jewish people.

With the support of people like you throughout our community, we have come through COVID debt-free and in a strong financial position to meet the challenges of the coming year. We have and will continue to offer life-changing programs, services, and to provide sustaining funds to our many partners in the community.

Thank you for your support and participation and for being part of this wonderful community.

We will look forward to sharing more news with you soon.

Chief Executive Officer
