Camp Shalom builds life-skills, strong community, and unforgettable memories

Since 1969, Camp Shalom has been on a mission to engage children of ALL religious and ethnic backgrounds, abilities, and interests. For generations, Camp Shalom has offered enriching experiences based on Jewish values that enhance the lives of young people and build a strong foundation for their entire lives. Camp Shalom is a place where children gain skills to succeed in a group setting, build their confidence as individuals, create lasting friendships, and grow both creatively and personally. Children find a connection to community and respect for themselves and others.

Through an enormous variety of indoor and outdoor activities, campers of all ages flourish in a safe environment, guided by well-trained staff who are qualified, mature, and compassionate. They enjoy sports, games, arts and crafts, science, music, cooking, swimming, and themed dress-up days at traditional camp. Camp Shalom’s specialty camps encourage discovery through technology, robotics, LEGO, circus arts, musical theater, and Hebrew immersion.

Camp Chaverim at Camp Shalom is designed for children of all abilities. This unique, innovative inclusion program provides a highly-trained one-on-one counselor for each Chaverim camper, delivering individualized and tailored support as they play, learn, and connect with new friends.

Jewish Silicon Valley and Camp Shalom understand that when it comes to truly supporting the diverse needs of families, one size does not fit all! We are proud to be the place that hundreds of kids call their summer home every year.
