8th Annual Day of Code, Tinkering & Play
Using STEAM to repair the world

Sunday, November 7th • 10 AM – 3 PM • In-Person & Online
The 8th Annual Family Day of Code, Tinkering and Play √64.0 invites families with kids aged PreK-8th grade to join us to “Use STEAM to repair the world“

The morning portion of the program (10:00 am – Noon) will be IN PERSON on Yavneh’s campus (only outdoors!!) And the afternoon portion (1:30 pm – 3:00 pm) of the program will be VIRTUAL via Zoom.

Together, you and your family will:

☀️ Build a solar-powered oven

🚰 Create an eco-friendly irrigation system

🌊 Learn to code systems that help save the oceans

👩‍🌾 Engage in a sustainable farming learning session

📚 Construct a tiny library to donate to communities in need

🤖 Explore AI and machine learning used to address global issues

🤩 Get creative in the open maker space


All activities will be geared towards specific age groups and teach ways to improve our larger community through STEAM methods and tools.

*The 8th Annual Day of Code, Tinkering & Play √64.0 is a community-wide STEAM initiative. We are excited to welcome anyone who would like to join. New friends will receive a gift at the door!*
