Her Honor is a finalist for the 2022 California Book Award and for the 2022 Northern California Book Award. She was the Independent Police Auditor for the City of San Jose, a Palo Alto City Council Member, and a frequent legal commentator on radio and television. “Judge Cordell  embodies the meaning of judicial independence”, according to Kathleen Sullivan, former Dean of Stanford Law School. In her other life, Judge Cordell is an artist and pianist; she resides in Palo Alto with her partner, Florence Keller, and is a mother and grandmother.  Read More Here
