Fri-J- Rosh Hashanah. Join us for a fun morning of music, apples and schmoozing. Steve Gill’s group is returning to the JCC after performing for many years pre-Covid. We will hear about the holiday’s customs from Rabbi Hugh and then enjoy songs of Wi
This is a commentary and song fest about three composers who have been rediscovered, from the greatest writer of melody, Stephen Foster to the jazz champion, Fats Waller, and finishing with the great George Arlen.
Songs include: Oh Susannah, Old Folks at Home, My Old Kentucky Home, Ain’t Misbehaving, Honeysuckle Rose, It’s A Sin To Tell A Lie, Accentuate the Positive, It’s Only A Paper Moon, and many others. There will be opportunities to join in on a number of songs.
