Exploring Art | Hanukkah

December 14 @ 12:30 pm - 1:45 pm

Looking at contemporary art is not always easy; at times, it means to be pushed out of our comfort zones and make valuable connections between our conscious and subconscious thoughts; it means to connect our logical brain with our inner soul of abstract feelings. Exploring contemporary art through our own lenses provides a personal form of fulfillment; it gives each of us a perspective to the way we experience and portrays the act of living!

In this program we’ll focus on Hanukkah Menorahs! The Hanukkah menorah is the most associated object in Jewish tradition with the holiday of Hanukkah, with the only and exclusive mitzvah and the central symbol of the holiday. We will look at different Hanukkah menorah, their designs and origins. If you have a favorite Hanukkiah or one with a special story, please bring it along! [Can be a picture] We will leave time to share.
