Congregation Beth David Presents Latino Jews in the United States

r. Laura Limonic, an Associate Professor of Sociology at SUNY Old Westbury, author of Kugel and Frijoles, will give a presentation focusing on Jewish immigrants to the United States in recent decades from Central and South America and the Carribbean, with their rich cultural diversity. She will offer insights into their role as Latinos in the Jewish community, and as Jews in the Latino community, as well.
