In this twice monthly series with Rabbi Nathan Roller, we will be examining how modern music responds to and enhances our understanding of biblical stories and deepens our connections to characters found in our ancient texts. We will be looking at a range of songs and subjects, focusing primarily on stories of biblical women through the music and lyrics of Torah teacher Alicia Rabins, as presented in her musical midrash project, Girls in Trouble. Each lecture in this series will be a standalone lecture, focusing on one biblical character or theme
