In commemoration of Kristallnacht, Professor Carol Salus, professor emerita of art history at Kent State University, will present a slide lecture on art representations of the Holocaust. She will speak on how the Holocaust has come to be commemorated in American and European monuments, including in Berlin and San Francisco. An open discussion will follow as to what monuments seem most effective. This event is jointly sponsored by Beth David Adult Education Committee and Beth David Hazak.
