Session 2: Communication and Presentation Skills

How to motivate, communicate and present in a way that gets your message across to the specified audience. Inclusive of speaking and presentation tools, this session is essential for those who are looking to lead.

Session 3: Project and Event Management Tools
Tuesday, April 13 @ 7:00 PM
The steps needed to get to the end goal. How to manage a team of one or 20 and get the job done. Where to follow up? How to follow through? The questions and more will be answered.

National Young Leadership Conference, March 14-16
Join 200+ young leaders from across the country for an experience emphasizing leadership skills and social action opportunities. Following up on a 2009 trip to New Orleans, the Boston trip is for those who hold or will be holding leadership positions in the Jewish community.

Session 4: Effective Boards & Meetings

Are agendas a necessity? What about minutes? How to keep order in a large group and get through the necessary items. How to take-charge while allowing others to speak.

Session 5: Understanding and Using Financial Statements
Tuesday, June 8 @ 7:00 PM
Revenue vs. Profit...creating a clear and transparent budget, fiduciary responsibility... The list of knowledge and how to use it could go on forever regarding financial statements. Let us explain what you need to know and use.

Session 6: Player’s Choice
Tuesday, July 13 @ 7:00 PM
Attend one last session to discuss how you can get involved and be an asset to the community. A final chance to get the information YOU want and need.
