In addition to the free books or CDs that each enrolled child receives each month, The PJ Library® program in Silicon Valley also offers a lively and welcoming series of programs every month (or almost!). Some programs celebrate holidays, others evoke Jewish values and life cycles. All programs are free and open to anyone in the community whose children (toddlers to first graders) would enjoy such a program. It's a nice way to get to know other families and share The PJ Library experience with others who also love reading these special books.
As the presence of The PJ Library® becomes more visible in Silicon Valley, and as more enrolled families share their delight with friends, more and more children are enjoying Story Times throughout the South Bay.
Each program features stories, songs, finger play, a craft activity, and (in most cases) snacks. All programs are always open to children ages 6 months to 7 years, and parents interested in learning more about their Jewish heritage. Of course, siblings are welcome, too.
