JCN 2008 Schedule

Please send all articles and letters to the editor to Cecily Ruttenberg, editor. Submissions deadlines vary depending upon the issue. Please see chart above for specific deadlines or contact Cecily Ruttenberg at (408) 357-7505 to be added to the JCN notification list.

Submitting Events

Please enter upcoming events for inclusion in the Datebook section of the newspaper through our online submission form.

Please include the following details:

• WHAT: Name of event, sponsoring organization and ONE sentence description
• WHEN: Date and time
• WHERE: Place, address and street, city
• COST: if any
• WHO: Contact name, phone number and/or e-mail address, and the last day your organization will accept reservations or RSVPs.

Please note: inclusion in the Datebook is strictly for activities that are open to the public. We regret that events meant exclusively for your organization or its members cannot be included.

Submitting Photos to Datebook

The JCN staff may sometimes include photographs in the Datebook. We realize that it's hard to provide pictures for events that have yet to take place. If possible, use an interesting photo from the same event that took place last year, or a photo of one or more of the people who are planning or working on the event.

You may submit the photograph illustrating your event. It may be included in the Datebook, at the discretion of the Datebook editor. Please identify each person shown in the photo, from left to right. Digital photos may be e-mailed to the datebook at cecily@jvalley.org Hard copies must be sent, no later than the deadline noted above, to the JCN at 14855 Oka Road, Suite 200, Los Gatos, CA 95032.
