An open forum with Rabbi Magat
On Sunday, Jan. 11, at 1:30 p.m., Rabbi Dana Magat of Temple Emanu-El will speak on "What Are We Called To Do?" The discussion will deal with questions of how we understand the purpose of human life and our partnership with God in repairing the world. Light refreshments will follow. This event is sponsored by the 49ers, a group for Jewish singles, age 49+, who meet for a variety of social and cultural activities each month and promote connecting with other people as a way of enhancing life.
