what happens when i visit the mikvah?

You will be greeted by a volunteer Mikvah Guide in the lobby of the Levy Family Campus. Appointments are scheduled allowing plenty of time for your mikvah experience.

Your guide will escort you to the mikvah and explain the immersion process. Any questions you may have will be answered. Your mikvah guide will design an experience that meets your individual needs.

After you prepare for your immersion, you will wrap yourself in the bath sheet provided and let the guide know you are ready to immerse. Mk122

The guide will enter and will make sure you are fully prepared for immersion. The guide will hold up a bath sheet for you as you enter the mikvah.

At the end of your immersion, you will be offered the option to remain in the pool for a few moments of private reflection. If you prefer, your mikvah guide will assist you in coming out of the pool.

Depending on your reason for immersing, you may want to mark this event with some of your family or friends present. Although space is limited, a small number of people can be accommodated behind a privacy curtain.

Your privacy is our utmost concern and your immersion will be conducted with that as our highest priority.
