Celebration Classic at The Golf Club at Boulder Ridge in San Jose.

Please save the dates for the First Annual Celebration Classic golf tournament celebrating the life of former Temple President Bob Freeman. 

The Celebration Classic will start on Sunday evening, May 6, with a dinner, entertainment, and live auction at The Golf Club at Boulder Ridge, which is about a 15-minute drive east of Congregation Shir Hadash.

The festivities will continue with a golf tournament and many other golf-related activities and contests on Monday, May 7, also at Boulder Ridge. The cost will be $360 per person to participate in the entire Celebration Classic, including the dinner the night before, the golf tournament, a barbecue lunch the day of the tournament, and cocktails and appetizers after the tournament. The cost to attend the dinner alone on May 6 is $75 per person.

There are lots of opportunities to participate. You do not have to be a golfer to attend the dinner or to volunteer. We need lots of volunteers to help us with Celebration Classic. Volunteers, please contact Rich Pickard.

If you know golfers who would like to play in the tournament, please direct them to Rich Pickard. We would like to have 128 players to fill out our field. This is the big fundraiser for Congregation Shir Hadash for this 2011-2012 year. We hope that you will do all that you can to support these fundraising efforts and to join us in having a great time.
