Morgan Watkins, an inspiring speaker whose blindness started when he was 11, presents Succeeding in the Face of Adversity. Determined not to let this circumstance negatively impact his life, he used his computer science degree to direct the computing support operations at the University of Texas, one of the largest computing support operations in the country. He also wrote numerous columns for MacWEEK, and co-authored a popular graduate school textbook.
After a short retirement, he served nearly a year and a half as the Acting President and CEO of Guide Dogs for the Blind, the largest such school in North America.
With warmth and humor, Morgan Watkins will share his approach to personal happiness and professional development. His light-hearted presentation style will captivate listeners as he describes how he reached his goals under what some might consider difficult circumstances.
Please join Morgan Watkins and his Golden Retriever Guide Dog, Will, on Wednesday, February 1 for a very memorable evening.
