10th Anniversary of September 11: Transformation Through Community Engagement

Love Hate LoveA community interfaith gathering in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of September 11, 2001. Screening of the independent documentary Love Hate Love (www.lovehatelovemovie.com), with film makers. Chronicles the story of three families torn apart by terrorism, and how they transformed their trauma through volunteer projects that create hope. Following the film, interfaith leaders and government officials will speak about how community service can transform tragedy into hope. Local police, fire and paramedics will be honored. Volunteer organizations will provide engagement opportunities.
