Simchat Torah Morning Service and Yizkor

September 30, 2010 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM

On each of the three pilgrimage festivals, of which Simchat Torah is one, a memorial (yizkor) service is added to the morning liturgy as we remember those who have died recently or in years past. The pilgrimage festivals are those when in ancient times, the trip was made to Jerusalem to observe the holiday.
