Rabbi Magat will be leading a 10-day tour of Israel April 7-17, 2011. The information session is open to all. The itinerary includes a visit to Israel's wine country, Rosh Hanikra, Acre, Jerusalem, Masada and the Dead Sea, the Golan Heights, and Safed. There will be time to dip toes in the Mediterranean, walk on historic streets, visit the contemporary Yad Vashem memorial, look down on Israel from the Golan Heights, experience the early history of the state at Independence Hall in Tel Aviv. Not to mention the food. RSVP requested to admin@templesanjose.org by August 2, or call the Temple office for more information. An alternative session covering the same information is scheduled for Sunday, July 18 at 4:00 PM.
