Brian David Goldberg, Ph.D., Executive Director

Brian David Goldberg joined the Jewish Federation of Silicon Valley in June 2003, following a four-year stint as regional director of the Anti-Defamation League in Seattle, WA, where he oversaw a five-state area considered a "hot spot" for hate organizations.

Brian earned a doctorate in political science last year from the University of Southern California. Previously he worked as a development director for the USC Law School and College of Letters, Arts, and Science.

A native of Long Beach, CA, Brian is married to Eleonora, a molecular biologist, and has two daughters, Sophia and Esther.

Bonnie Slavitt Moore, immediate past president of the Federation's board, said the search committee was impressed by Brian's credentials and past performance, describing him as "clearly knowledgeable, bright, and experienced."
